MBTA Train service curtailed. Please check MBTA website or the Town’s website for alternative bus schedules.
MBTA Proposed Communication Towers: Efforts to modify the project continue at a quickening pace. Resident responses have been impressive. Still want to write your own letter? Go to the Town’s web site for information regarding who to contact. And we would love to hear from telecommunication experts about alternatives to tall towers as a way to provide Wi-Fi on trains!
MBTA Advisory Board Representative vacancy needs to be filled. If you are interested in volunteering for this position please contact the Selectmen’s Office at Town Hall.
An updated list of what can be brought to the transfer station and the various charges for the requisite stickers can be found at the DPW page of the Town’s web site. The updated fees go into effect July 1, 2017.
Lots of infrastructure work is underway causing some travel delays and disruption to water service. Check for updates on the various projects at the Town’s web site.
New tiered water rates are effective July1. A recent mailing sent to all customers explains the new rates as well as offering tips for using less water.
Town Hall Hours: Thursday evenings Town Hall offices will remain open until 6:30PM beginning July 6. The Building Inspector will hold office hours from 4:30PM to 6:30PM on Thursdays.
Monday and Tuesday Trash, Recycling and Compost pick-up will be on the regular schedule.
