Selectmen Kehoe’s Last Meeting:  At the Selectmen’s Meeting on Monday 5/7/18, we will witness the last votes Tom will make as a Selectman!  We will miss his guidance but admire the years of service he has devoted to being a Selectman as well as a long list of other volunteer roles.  Thank you, Tom, job well done!

Town Green up-Day:  Thanks to the Manchester Community Center, a town-wide clean-up day is set for Sunday May 6th from 10am-1pm.  Bring your community spirit and help beautify our town! Even if you can only spare an hour we can use your help. Gloves, bags, water, and snacks will be provided! Individuals and Groups interested in participating should sign up by calling the Manchester Community Center at 978-526-7626 or email

Transportation Forums:
As part of the final information gathering efforts for the new master plan, two forums are planned to garner citizen input on transportation needs of Manchester. The same forum will be held twice on Tuesday, May 8th at Town Hall – 9AM and 7PM.  The plans for the trial round-about will also be on display.

Round-about Trial: From May 14 through June 8 a new traffic pattern will be tried out at the intersection of Central/Pine/Bridge and Bennett Streets.  A small round-about will be laid out requiring a circular flow of vehicles at the intersection.  After the trial period a short survey will be available to assess reaction to the proposed change that the Downtown Improvement Committee has advanced.

Town Elections on May 15: The following candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the positions listed.  Housing Authority: (1 position) Beth Heisey & Allen Craige McCoy; Library Trustee (1 position) Richard Rogers; Moderator: Alan Wilson; Planning Board (2 yrs): (1 position) Christopher Olney & Mary Foley; Planning Board (3 yrs): (2 positions) Loren Coons & Christine Delisio; School Committee (1 position) Shannon O'Brien Erdmann & Andre Kuehnemund; Selectmen (1 position) Rebecca S.
