BOS WEEKLY UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 1, 2016

Posted on September 7, 2016 at 11:46 AM by Nathan Boyd

Share your vision:  The Master Plan Community Survey is now open to all residents through September 16, 2016.  Help us steer the right course for the future of Manchester.

On September 19th, the Board of Selectmen will be holding a Public Hearing to review and gain feedback on the parking changes that were made at the start of the summer. Look for more details next week.

Water Ban:  The town-wide water ban continues.  Despite some recent rain, the State has issued a Drought Warning, one stage shy of an emergency.  Please continue to conserve water and honor the outdoor watering ban.  No washing of cars, driveways and sidewalks.  Please only hand watering of plants & yards between the hours of 5PM and 8AM.

Per order of the Fire Chief:  Effective immediately, all open burning is prohibited. No campfires, open flame cooking fires and recreational fires. This includes open fires on town beaches. This is due to the unusually dry weather conditions and dry fuel conditions.  The use of charcoal cooking fires and gas cooking fires are allowed. Thank you for your cooperation on this issue.

On or Off? Trash, Recycling & Compost will be collected on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 6th & 7th due to the Labor Day Holiday; bins should be placed at the curb by 7am.
