BOS WEEKLY UPDATE – October 18, 2018
Thank you for your attendance – We had nearly a full house Monday for the Special Town Meeting with some 750 voters in attendance. It is encouraging to see such a large turn-out to help decide important questions put forth before the Town. Mark November 6th on your calendars for the state elections and the ballot question regarding funding the elementary school project.
And Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who helped make the Town Meeting go so smoothly! Despite the large crowd everyone was checked in and seated without too much delay. All in all, a great effort by everyone.
Our 375th Anniversary is coming up! The Town will celebrate its 375th anniversary come 2020. Volunteers are needed to help plan the celebrations. This is a great opportunity get involved in a fun town project. Please contact our office at Town Hall if you are interested.
