BOS WEEKLY UPDATE – June 20, 2019

Volunteer Opportunities: Every June the Selectmen make appointments to our numerous town boards and committees.  We rely on literally hundreds of you to volunteer to help in the smooth operations of town government.   A volunteer application form is available on the Town’s web site.  Please contact Sonja Nathan at 978-526-2000 or nathans@manchester.ma.us for more information.

Manchester Board of Health Seeking New Board Members: The Board of Health is responsible for the enforcement of State and Local public health regulations related to a wide variety of specialties including:   housing, food safety, beach water quality, animal inspection, on-site septic systems, private wells, recreational camps for children, building permit reviews and public health nursing services.

The five member appointed Board of Health is in need of new members who have experience in engineering and land use or are active medical doctors.

Trash, Recycling, Compost: Normal Monday and Tuesday collections. Remember, do not place your recycled materials in a plastic bag or add any plastic bags to your recycling bin!
