The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its first meeting at 7pm on Thursday, September 29.
The Swearing-In Ceremony/Public Reception for our new public safety chiefs takes place at the American Legion Hall at 7pm on Wednesday, October 5; please note date change. The public is invited to meet Fire Chief George Kramlinger and Police Chief Ed Conley.
A public hearing on parking changes will be held as part of the Board of Selectmen’s meeting scheduled for Monday, October 17. Specific topics will be announced once the ad hoc committee meets to finalize their recommendations.
Thank you to all who participated in Monday's Master Plan Visioning Open House. More than 80 people attended, and over 520 have completed the community survey to date. The town-wide water ban continues. Please continue to conserve water and honor the outdoor watering ban. No washing of cars, driveways and sidewalks. Hand-watering of plants and yards between 5pm and 8am ONLY.
By order of the Fire Chief, all open burning is prohibited. No campfires, open flame cooking fires or recreational fires. This includes open fires on all town beaches, and is due to the unusually dry weather and dry fuel conditions. The use of charcoal cooking fires and gas cooking fires is allowed.
