Early Voting ends Thursday, November 3 at 8pm. Election Day polls will be open Tuesday, November 8 at Memorial School from 7am to 8pm.  Absentee ballots must be received by November 8 at the Town Clerk’s Office. Please call 978-526-2040 with questions.

A brief survey will be available at the polls on Tuesday asking voters their views on town expenditures and revenues. The Selectmen and Finance Committee will use the results to guide their work on FY18 budget development. The survey may also be completed online; click here to begin.

Are you passionate about the environment? The Waste Reduction Committee is looking for new members. This committee has won multiple awards and received more than $65,000 in grants for the town. The committee works closely with the MERHS Green Team, the Selectmen, and the Department of Public Works to bring awareness and programs to town in an effort to reduce residents' carbon footprints. The time commitment is manageable with monthly meetings during the school year. If interested, please email Thalia Hatcher or call 978-526-1242.

The Master Plan Committee is working to finalize its visioning work with MAPC and will have survey results and a report available on the Town website by mid-November. For more information or to schedule a neighborhood meeting, please email Sue Brown or call 978-525-6436.

The town-wide water ban remains in effect. Please conserve water and honor the outdoor watering ban. No washing of cars, driveways or sidewalks. Hand-watering of plants and yards 5pm – 8am ONLY. The use of charcoal cooking fires and gas cooking fires is allowed.

Trash, recycling and kitchen compost are collected weekly on appointed collection days. Please place bins at the curb no later than 7am.
