The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony take place on Monday, May 30. The parade begins at 9AM at the American Legion with stops at the various town cemeteries; the main ceremony will be held at the Rosedale Cemetery at approximately 10AM.  The Selectmen extend a special thank you to all armed services personnel past and present.

Please support the 4th of July Committee’s fundraising efforts! The final push is on to raise the funds necessary to make this year’s parade and fireworks display a grand success.  Fireworks and a concert are scheduled for Sunday evening, July 3, with the parade to follow on Monday, July 4.

Summer weather is here! Please be safe while enjoying our oceanfront amenities, and remember the ocean is still quite cold this time of year. The Parks and Recreation Department and the Harbormaster have been busy getting ready for another summer of outdoor fun.

Looking to volunteer in the community? Vacancies remain on the Animal Control Board (one three-year term), Council on Aging (one three-year term), and the Downtown Improvement Committee (two one-year terms). For more information, please contact the Board of Selectmen.
