The Selectmen are seeking to fill the following volunteer vacancies:  Library Trustee and Zoning Board of Appeals member. Interested residents are asked to submit a letter of interest or a volunteer form to the Selectmen’s Office by December 13.

The Manchester Affordable Housing Trust will begin developing its annual work plan and budget at its next meeting on December 8.

The FY18 Preliminary Town Budget will be presented to the Selectmen and the Finance Committee at a joint public meeting on Monday, December 12 at 7PM at Town Hall.

The public Boat Ramp behind Town Hall had the finishing curbing installed last week and is complete except for a top coat of asphalt that will be applied in the spring. Users of the new ramp have commented on how much improved the new ramp is compared to the poorly pitched and short old ramp.    

The Master Plan Committee’s Visioning Survey results are available on the Town website via the Master Plan links on the homepage, and the Committee continues its work towards the presentation of a Draft Vision Plan. Water main flushing will be complete at the end of this week.

The town-wide water ban remains in effect. Please conserve water and honor the outdoor watering ban. No washing of cars, driveways or sidewalks. Hand-watering of plants and yards 5pm – 8am ONLY.

Trash, recycling and kitchen compost are collected weekly on appointed collection days. Please place bins at the curb no later than 7am.
