Pre Town Meeting will take place at 9am in Room 5 at Town Hall on Saturday April 1 to discuss the Warrant for the Annual Town Meeting scheduled for April 3rd.

Town Meeting will take place this year on Monday April 3rd at 7pm in the Memorial School Gymnasium.  The Town Meeting Guide is now posted on the website, the guide provides a brief explanation of what town meeting does and how it works.  Also please check the website for the flyer explaining the new electronic voting devices to be used this year.

The new Short Term Paying Guest Bylaw is in place.  Property owners renting to guests for less than 6 contiguous days are reminded to apply for a license with the Board of Selectmen. The deadline for applying for those who received letters is March 31st.  Enforcement steps will begin in April.  Anyone with questions about the new bylaw should contact the Selectmen's Office.

The Town has received a $34,000 grant from MassDOT to assess its road network and identify opportunities for improvements that will result in greater access, safety and comfort for all users including pedestrians and cyclists.  Please watch for more information about the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan process in the weeks to come and plan to share your ideas at a public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st at the Community Center.

Water conservation measures are still needed! Despite recent precipitation, totals are still significantly below normal and the Commonwealth has not changed the drought warning for our area. Please be mindful of your water consumption and conserve as much as possible.

Trash/compost/recycling pick up will resume its normal schedule, please have everything on the curb by 7 am.

Have a great week and enjoy the warmer temperatures!
