The Assessors are required by state law to value all real and personal property within their community. They also handle motor vehicle excise bills that are originated by the Registry of Motor Vehicles and boat excise bills. The Board of Assessors meet as needed. Their meetings are usually held on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. or Thursday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in Town Hall.
