Manchester-Essex Conservation Trust

A privately funded, non-profit membership organization preserving the natural beauty, wildlife and resources of the Manchester-Essex area. Membership $35 Family, $20 Individual, $10 Student, Membership includes a sasonal newsletter highlightingevents and activities for all ages, and trail guides to all conservation properties within Massachusetts.

Manchester Historical Museum

The museum features a mixture of federal, Victorian and other period pieces including fine arts and decorative arts; a collection of furniture manufactured in the Manchester area and photographs of early summer homes. Hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 - 3, Saturday Trask House Tours 12 - 3. Closed Sunday and Monday.  Membership Family -$40, Individual - $25, Senior - $10.  


Manchester Mother’s Club

The MMC welcomes members from all over the Cape Ann Community and is organized
so that local mothers, care givers and mothers-to-be can meet and socialize on a
regular basis, establish friendships, share ideas and become involved in the community.
Once a month activities and weekly playgroups. Membership $40/year

Manchester Woman’s Club

Open to women of all ages. Luncheon meetings with a program September through
May, the third Tuesday of the month at 12:30pm at the Congregational Chapel. The
Club sponsors programs such as the Christmas Concert and Friendship Tree, Visiting
Nurse Association, and scholarships for graduating students.

Seaside Garden Club

Annual membership $20.00. Meetings September through June, the second Tuesday of
the month at 7:30pm at the Manchester Community Center.

The Friends of Manchester Trees

The organization encourages a respect for aesthetic, ecological and horticultural value
of trees by promoting the planting and maintenance of trees and shrubs in Manchesterby-
the-Sea and to coordinate the actions of interested citizens, government bodies and
other groups in such activities.
