The Friends of The Manchester Council on Aging
The Friend's of The Manchester Council on Aging is an official organization devoted to the raising of funds in support of Manchester's Council on Aging, which is not allowed, by law, to involve itself in any fundraising.
Traditionally, the Friends of the Council on Aging is a group of energetic volunteers who are interested in making a difference in the lives of the Seniors of Manchester and in the growth of community spirit and cooperation within the town.
The Friends of the Council on Aging are presided over by a Board of Directors, including four officers. Meetings are held once a month at The Plains Community Room.
This volunteer group conceives, plans, publicizes and executes major fundraising events each year. These have included, but are not limited to house tours, dances and tailgate sales.
