Switch It Up!
Getting stuck in a workout routine? Need a challenge? Want some fun? The new class that will start soon covers all those bases. This class will meet every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m and Friday at 11 a.m.. and will consist of a little warm-up, followed by an ever-changing circuit routine! For more information, talk to David De Baere.
Stop, Stretch and Breath YOGA class
This is a Yoga class designed to increase flexibility and balance in a safe manner. The class will be held Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. This is an ongoing class, so feel free to try it whenever you want!
Parkinson’s Wellness Group
The Community Wellness Program is a six-week class developed at Boston University that is designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, living in the community, learn to manage their health more effectively. Under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist and speech therapist, participants will learn a problem solving approach as well as specific exercises to address various mobility, speech and self-care issues. Emphasis is placed on improving day-to-day function and quality of life. The class meets for 1.5 hours twice a week.

Fallproof Balance Class
An eight-week class designed to improve balance and maintain an active lifestyle. Developed at California State University at Fullerton, this group-based exercise program incorporates a series of progressive balance, mobility, strength and flexibility exercises to encourage better balance and reduce the risk for falls. The eight-week class meets for one hour twice a week.
