The above link will bring you to the proposed Wetlands Bylaw that will be on the 2010 Town warrant. The Commission made changes after their February 23, 2010 public hearing. |
The Conservation Commission is required by state law to administer and enforce the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act within their community. The Commission also administers and enforces the local wetlands by-law and manages Town owned conservation land.
The Conservation Commission meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm in Town Hall. Additional meetings are scheduled as needed. Meetings with the Conservation Administrator should be scheduled in advance because some of the office time is spent on site inspections and meetings.
