Fee $10.00 for the Burning Season
·Burning Season January 15th thru May 1st
·No burning within 75 feet of a building
·Burning Hours 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
· Fire Department must be called each day you may want to burn. (526-4040)
·The permit is issued for the property address only.
· A person must be present at all times until fire is completely extinguished
· Must have a garden hose, rake or shovel available to control the fire
· ALL FIRES MUST BE COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED BY 4:00 P.M.
To reuse this permit, call the Fire Department 526-4040 on the day you want to burn, give your name, address, and permit number. If weather conditions are favorable, permission will be granted.
This permit may be revoked at any time, by the Fire Department if;
Weather conditions during the day change
· Smoke conditions cause a nuisance or health condition to neighbors.
·If any of the above rules are violated
