The Board of Health will be holding their annual household hazardous waste collection day on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Manchester residents who would like to participate in this event must contact the Board of Health to register for an appointment. If you would like to register, please email your name, address, and telephone number to lufkine@manchester.ma.us. If you require assistance in registering or have questions about the event, please call the Board of Health Office at 978 526 7385.
Household hazardous waste that will be accepted for collection at this event will include items such as: oil based paint, turpentine, paint thinner, herbicides, pesticides, pool chemicals, solvents, weed killers, and insecticides. Upon registering, you will receive confirmation of your appointment time as well as a complete list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
Residents are encouraged to carpool with their friends and neighbors to this event, as the cost is calculated on a per car basis.
