SINGING BEACH NOTICE
*DURING THIS PAST WINTER, SINGING BEACH EXPERIENCED SEVERE BEACH EROSION AND SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE SEAWALL. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO VISIT SINGING BEACH THIS SUMMER, PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHEN HIGH TIDE IS. AT HIGH TIDE, THERE IS ONLY A SMALL SECTION OF BEACH LEFT TO SIT ON, WHICH MEANS THAT THE BEACH WILL BE VERY CROWDED ON WARM DAYS AND THE TOWN OF MANCHESTER WILL NOT BE CONDUCTING ANY BEACH NOURISHMENT PROGRAMS. *IN ADDITION, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF SECTIONS WHERE THE SEAWALL HAS COLLAPSED AND WE ASK THAT BEACH PATRONS DO NOT CLIMB ON THE SEAWALL DUE TO RISK OF INJURY.
*IF PAY TO COME TO THE BEACH, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TOWN OF MANCHESTER DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.
The Singing Beach Bathhouse will be opening up for the season and Lifeguards will be on duty starting on Saturday, May 25th. We will be open on Saturday, May 25th, Sunday, May 26th & Monday, May 27th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. During the month of June, we will be open on weekends only from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm until June 16th. Beginning on Monday, June 17th, the facility will be staffed 7 days per week from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and lifeguards will be on duty daily from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Parking in the Singing Beach Parking Lot is limited to Manchester residents with a valid Beach Parking Sticker. Beginning on Monday, June 17th, a limited number of non-resident parking spaces will be sold on Mondays - Thursdays for a fee of $25 per car.
All Residents must have a valid 2013 Beach Parking Sticker in order to park in the Singing Beach Parking Lot. Parking stickers can be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office at Manchester Town Hall Mondays – Wednesdays from 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Non-Residents may park in the Singing Beach Parking Lot this summer on Mondays – Thursdays ONLY, for a fee of $25.00 per day if space is available. On Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, parking is limited strictly to Manchester residents with a valid Beach Parking Sticker. Non-Resident parking will be available beginning on Monday, June 17th thru Thursday, August 29th. Beginning August 30th and continuing thru- September 30th, parking in the Singing Beach lot is limited to Manchester residents with a valid sticker only. There is no non-resident parking available during this time.

SINGING BEACH ADMISSIONS FEE SCHEDULE
WHY DOES SINGING BEACH CHARGE AND ADMISSIONS FEE?
Singing Beach is owned, maintained, & operated by the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea, and is open to the general public. All persons, residents & non-residents, are charged on an equal basis according to the access fee schedule listed above. Fee access was established by Town Meeting (1991) and was set by the Board of Selectmen. Singing Beach operates as a self-supporting entity and all user fees collected pay for the direct cost of operating the Beach each year. Revenues pays for things such as Lifeguards, Parking Attendants, bathhouse utilities, beach cleaning, trash removal and facility maintenance and improvements.

LOST & FOUND
There is a lost and found bin inside the Singing Beach Bathhouse located in the main hallway. Any items that are left behind or are turned into us are placed into this bin. If you have lost and item you will need to come to the beach and check this bin. At the end of the season all remaining items will be thrown away.
GROUP VISITS - NON PROFIT GROUPS
Certain groups are permitted to make a reservation to come and visit Singing Beach for the day. Group Reservations are accepted for Mondays thru Thursdays only during the months of Mid June, July until Mid August. Acceptable groups include Recreation Departments, YMCA's, Boys & Girls Girls Clubs, School Groups, Church Groups, and other non-profit organizations. Groups must pay the group reservation fee of $50.00 per bus per day. ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AND ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF GROUPS ARE ACCEPTED EACH DAY. To make a reservation, please complete the Group Request Form for Non-Profit Entities contact the Recreation Department at 978-526-2019.
