10th ANNUAL SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Join us Tuesday nights this summer for these free concerts from 6:00 - 8:00 pm where Oldies, Swing, Rhythm & Blues, Latin & Classic Rock music will fill the air! Don’t forget to bring your family & friends, blankets & chairs, & dinner to enjoy the Music in Masconomo Park! Great for all ages. Come join the fun!
JUNE 19TH – ROBBIN & GEORGE GODDING
Duo George and Robbin Godding are singers and musicians who entertain in that old-timey/ sing-a long style of Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Al Jolson and many other selections that include swing, jazz and classic country.
JUNE 26TH - INCAHOOTS
This 4 piece band from Essex and Hamilton has been “In cahoots” for 10 years. Each member of the band has been actively involved with music for over twenty years. Their set list ranges with Rock & Roll cover tunes from 60's to today!”
JULY 3RD - PRE-FIREWORKS CONCERT AT SINGING BEACH
There will be a special holiday concert at Singing Beach featuring "The Beachbreakers" 7:15 - 9:15 pm and will be followed by the Fireworks Display
JULY 10TH - GRUPO FANTASIA
Back by popular demand for their tenth straight year, Grupo Fantasia is back this year shake things up with a Latin mix of upbeat songs and dance.
JULY 17TH – RICO BARR JUMP JIVE & REVIEW
Rico Barr and the Jump ‘N’ Jive Review is New England’s premier Swing and party band. They perform selections from Frank Sinatra to Cee Lo Green to all the Motown Classics.
JULY 24TH - THE CONSCIOUS REGAAE BAND
The Conscious Reggae Band incorporates classical and modern sounds to convey a psychological relief through music. This Boston based band brings a unique feel to music and shares a genuine adoration for what is referred to as "conscious music".
JULY 31ST – JUST LIKE NEWMAN
Just like Newman is a North Shore based cover band that specializes in music that people know and want to sing along to. From the Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones, Matchbox 20, Counting Crows and Pearl Jam. Guest are treated to a fun musical experience and playful banter.
AUGUST 7TH – MID LIFE CRISIS
Mid Life Crisis brings together 10 local residents who play well known rock tunes that children and adults can all sing and dance to. They perform a variety of music including Classic Rock, R & B and Funk.
AUGUST 14TH - JUMPIN JUBA
Jumpin' Juba mixes blues from Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans with roots-y rock & roll, jazz, calypso,& Latin flavors. Steve Hurl's guitar playing draws from great acoustic blues finger-pickers, & from string benders of the 1950s. Bruce Ward's piano work recalls such greats as Prof. Longhair & Albert Ammons. Drummer Brian Flan knocks out a solid beat. Slap Happy is their 2nd CD offering of upbeat, varied blues/roots tunes.
