Kindergarten Busy Bees
Kindergarten Busy Bees is a program designed to meet the needs of
Memorial School kindergartners and there families on Wednesdays when school is dismissed at 12:45 pm. Heather Snider DePriest and Dee Dee Warren will entertain your children in the Auditorium at the Memorial School with fun games, music, art projects and much, much more. The program will run every Wednesday throughout the school year. Sign up for a week or for the entire school year.

Home Alone
This course is designed for children who are unattended at home for short periods of time. Children will learn telephone and door answering techniques, accident and fire prevention, and first aid skills. The class includes a variety of teaching methods including active discussion and role playing. This class is geared towards children ages 8 - 11. This class is taught by Recreation Program Coordinator Heather Snider-DePriest and Police Officer Andrea Richardson

Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Hornets Early Release Day Programs
Looking for something fun and exciting to do on Early Release Days? Well look no further! The Parks & Recreation Department will be organizing a variety of fun games, activities and field trips on all Early Release Days. The programs are geared towards children in Grades K - 5 and meets in the Memorial School Gym. On days when we will going on a Field Trip, we must reluctantly charge more in order to cover the increased costs to rent the school buses. All Early Release Day Programs run from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Babysitters Training Course
The Babysitter’s Training course will give participants the safety skills and confidence necessary to be a great babysitter. The participants will learn what to expect from parents and learn the skills needed to handle any real-life babysitting situation. The course is designed for youths 11-15 years old and takes place in a fun, interactive environment. The youths will learn many skills including how to handle an emergency, perform first aid and interview for a babysitting job. They will also learn basic care routines like diapering, feeding and dressing infants and children.

Time: 9:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Friday Night Kickball & Dodgeball
Come and relive those fun filled days on the playground with one of the fastest growing sports in the area. We will be offering this kickball and Dodgeball league on Friday Nights this spring. This program is for grades 5 - 8. Program will be led by Chris Lamothe.
Dates: Fridays, March 12th - April 16th
Time: 6:15 - 8:30 p.m.
