The quality of the drinking water provided is the most important concern. Providing good quality water involves several steps, beginning with proper operation of the treatment facilities.
Water quality in Manchester's water can be considered good. Both sources remain free from contamination and have not exceeded any Federal or State limits for any compounds, and the distribution system has been shown to be free of micro-biological contamination. A Consumer Confidence Report is issued each year and can be found under Town News on the Home page.
