Any employee of the Town of Essex, Manchester, Rockport or Landmark School can become a member. The fee is $5.00 to join. After you join the Credit Union, you may remain a member for life, even if you change jobs, relocate or retire. As soon as you join, your family and household members are eligible to join. Employees are eligible to join for six months after leaving their employment.
How do you save? You may have regular amounts deducted from your paycheck or you may make deposits in any amount at your convenience, by mail, in person or by direct deposit. Savings can be withdrawn any time, either in person or by phone.
In a Federal Credit Union, the deposits of members are used to make loans to other members. All savings are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Adminstration, a U.S. government agency.
