The Board of Selectmen has proclaimed May 1 Karen Park Day in honor of Karen’s 30 years of operating a successful small business in town.  An appreciation day for Karen and her store, Zak’s, will be held from 1 to 4pm at the Manchester Community Center on Sunday, May 1.

The recruiting process for a new Police Chief and new Fire Chief will get underway soon. Residents who are interested in serving on a candidate review panel should send a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen/Town Administrator at Town Hall.

This year’s Town Election takes place on May 17. Polls will be open at Memorial School from 7am to 8pm.  Included on the ballot is the bond vote for water and sewer system improvements.

Coming Soon

A new Town website will debut in May. Features from the existing website such as online mapping, permitting, bill payments and activities registration will remain in place. New features will include Community Voice forums, easy-to-find links to department social media feeds, an Agendas/Minutes center and much more.

Trash, recycling and curbside compost will be picked up Monday and Tuesday, May 2 and 3.
