[ARCHIVED] BOS Weekly Update - January 3, 2017

The original item was published from January 9, 2017 12:39 PM to January 10, 2017 3:24 PM

Blue Light” season is here. Please monitor the weather and adhere to the on-street parking ban when the blue lights are turned on. Snow emergencies are also noted on the Town’s website and through the police dept. Facebook page.

Water conservation measures are still needed! Despite recent precipitation, totals are still significantly below normal and the Commonwealth has not changed the drought warning for our area. Please be mindful of your water consumption and conserve as much as possible.

Monday January 16th is Martin Luther King Day, trash/recycling/compost will be delayed by one day.  Please have everything out by 7AM for pick up. For the month of January, Christmas tree pickup will be "as seen" on the curb.  The trees will be composted, please make sure they are free of any décor and not in plastic.

Starting January 15th, prices for orange trash bags will increase to $2 (small) and $3 (large).

Please join us at the next Selectmen's meeting on Monday January 9, 2017 in Room 5 at 6pm.

Happy New Year!
