The original item was published from January 31, 2017 12:34 PM to January 31, 2017 12:36 PM

The latest version of the proposed FY18 budget will be reviewed at the Selectmen's February 21st Meeting (note this is a Tuesday as Monday the 20th is President's day Holiday.)  The public is encouraged to attend to provide input before the final version goes to print in preparation for the Annual Town Meeting April 3.

Congratulations to Town Staff for their recent wellness efforts!  These efforts were recognized by the MIIA, the town's health insurance broker, with the Town earning top honors for Best Progress in Wellness programming.

"Blue Light” season is here. Please monitor the weather and adhere to the on-street parking ban when the blue lights are turned on. Snow emergencies are also noted on the Town’s website and through the police dept. Facebook page.

Water conservation measures are still needed! Despite recent precipitation, totals are still significantly below normal and the Commonwealth has not changed the drought warning for our area. Please be mindful of your water consumption and conserve as much as possible.

The deadline for citizen petition articles for this year's Annual Town Meeting is Thursday, February 2nd.  Petitions need a minimum of 10 signatures of registered voters.

With approval by the Planning Board on January 9, the Master Plan Visioning Report is final.  Master Plan Visioning Report is available on line, with hard copies available at the Library and Town Hall.  Phase II of the Master Planning process is being planned and will be launched by the first week in March.  We will continue to ask community members to help identify preferred land use options as well as other choices that will help the town move toward its vision.  Stay tuned for updates about meetings and the Phase II plan.

Trash/compost/recycling pick up will resume its normal schedule, please have everything on the curb by 7 am.

Have a great week and Go Patriots!
