$2 Million and counting! In the last three years staff and citizen committees have helped secure this amount in grant funds for a wide range of town projects. The latest award is $327,000 from the Seaport Economic Council for repairs to the seawall in and around Morss Pier, the commercial dock at Masconomo Park.
The new Short Term Paying Guest Bylaw is in place. Property owners renting to guests for 5 days or less are reminded to apply for a license with the Board of Selectmen. Letters are being sent to properties currently being advertised. Anyone with questions about the new bylaw should contact the Selectmen’s Office.
The latest version of the proposed FY18 budget will be reviewed at the Selectmen's February 21st Meeting (note this is a Tuesday as Monday the 20th is the President's day Holiday.) The public is encouraged to attend to provide input before the final version goes to print in preparation for the Annual Town Meeting April 3.

Water conservation measures are still needed! Despite recent precipitation, totals are still significantly below normal and the Commonwealth has not changed the drought warning for our area. Please be mindful of your water consumption and conserve as much as possible.
Trash/compost/recycling pick up will resume its normal schedule, please have everything on the curb by 7 am.
