The Selectmen are committed to reviewing, assessing and providing alternatives to support the efforts of our Firefighters ensuring a balance of public safety and fiscal responsibility. The discussions that began during the winter’s budget process will continue with a goal of solutions being developed by the fall. Have ideas? Let us know what you think. Even better, consider becoming a call firefighter!
The Outdoor Water Ban has been removed for now. Residents are encouraged to continue to conserve water. A new tiered water rate structure is being developed that will provide financial incentives to use less water. The proposal will be the subject of a public hearing at the May 15th Selectmen’s meeting.
Trash, Recycling and Compost are on the regular schedule.
