Happy Memorial Day! Please join us in honoring our veterans. Ceremonies start at the American Legion Hall behind Town Hall at 9am. The Parade route will head up Pine Street to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery than on to the Rosedale Cemetery. All are invited to the observances.
Public Hearing on Tobacco Smoke Regulations to be held by the Board of Health on Thursday June 1st, to review proposed amendments to their existing "Environmental Tobacco Smoke Regulations:. Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing, which will begin at 6pm in Rom 5 on the second floor of Town Hall.
The Selectmen are committed to reviewing, assessing and providing alternatives to support the efforts of our Firefighters ensuring a balance of public safety and fiscal responsibility. The discussions that began during the winter’s budget process will continue with a goal of solutions being developed by the fall. Have ideas? Let us know what you think. The Outdoor Water Ban has been removed for now. Residents are encouraged to continue to conserve water. A new tiered water rate structure is being developed that will provide financial incentives to use less water. The proposal will be the subject of a public hearing at the June 5th Selectmen’s meeting.
Trash, Recycling and Compost pick-up will be delayed by one day due to the Memorial Day Holiday
